In these uncertain times, it is important to be certain when it comes to the care for your loved one. Silver Sitters is committed to providing safe care to our clients and caregivers and has taken proactive measures during this pandemic to provide high-quality in-home care to our clients. In-Home care provides peace of mind by keeping our seniors safe in their own homes and promoting the recommended social distancing.

Many nursing homes and assisted livings are unable to accept new admissions due to COVID-19 and risk of exposure to their large population of patients.

These facilities are often not equipped with proper staffing and supplies needed to care for a large population during an outbreak of this magnitude. Staffing ratios which are normally high have increased due to the COVID-19 and staffing shortages. In addition, the difficulty arises with the ability to properly use social distancing recommendations often sequestering patients to remain in their rooms.

Silver Sitters is continuously monitoring the recommendations from the CDC, WHO, and state and local departments of health.
