Silver Sitters provides expert care to veterans or their surviving spouses.  Oftentimes, those eligible are not aware of the benefits they are entitled to.  Our care managers are here to inform our clients of the benefits that may be available to them.

Veterans Aid and Attendance benefits can offset some of the cost for in-home care for aging veterans who need care assistance in the home for activities of daily living. This enables our veterans to receive the care they need to maintain living in their homes as they wish.

Who is eligible for VA benefits?

Veterans or their surviving spouses who served a minimum of 90 days of active duty including 1 day of active duty during a period of war may be eligible for VA benefits.  Silver Sitters coordinates with local Veterans advocacy programs to assist you or your family in applying for benefits.
